This is a special mechanical device for holding the door in the open position, which is integrated into the G-N slide channel. It allows the door to be held open at a precise angle (up to approximately 150°) and prevents it from closing.
The user can engage or disengage this mechanism as needed. It is non-handed and can be retrofitted into the slide channels of already operational doors.
